Week 10 Part A: Researching Email Marketing
For my business, newsletters won’t yield results in terms of growth and building relationships with new customers. It'd be good to keep customers in the loop but it’s not common for one in my business to keep interacting with the same people, over time we all grow apart. In general, newsletters bring more customers and in the article, it’s mentioned that “Clients who receive email marketing spend 83% more when shopping” (CSIT 155 Email Newsletter, 1). This form of marketing is versatile when talking about ways to contact a client. It can be the holidays, or on their birthday, or randomly sending them a checkup email. It shows that you care and will build a strong bond. If I were to use this form of marketing I’d only use it to keep in contact with fresh clients and be there for support at first then check up on them every once in a while.
Well said. I too am in a business that a newsletter may not work. It would really be more for checking up on clients. Just to keep them up to date on services that are offered.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your statement "For my business, newsletters won’t yield results in terms of growth and building relationships with new customers. " I'm just notcrazy about email and it feels like a newsletter is just another chore I have to attend to rather than something I look forward to.
