Week 9 Part A: Blogs, Vlogs, Podcasts & Webinars

When adding personal touches to posts, the type of business is one of the key factors to determine whether or not to use them. Obviously, we want each post to connect with our customers and clients, but knowing when and how to do so is the only way to make this true. The industry is also a key factor in terms of adding personal touches. Car companies like BMW and Audi don’t really add personal touches to their posts. They’re there for one reason only, to make the car appealing to the audience so the only thing you’re getting is standard information, nothing extra. For my business, I think adding personal touches would be a good idea, showing passion for music would give people the green flag that I'm trustworthy when it comes to music. I’m going to give it a shot since I haven’t even thought of it before. Personal touches can be used to acquire clients as well. Personalizing emails and information directly to the client will build bonds with them and establish trust. Referring back to BMW and Audi their goal isn’t to keep clients. The general population doesn’t buy cars that often so building that connection after the sale isn’t necessary.
