Week 6 Part A: Engaging Your Customers - FaceBook Strategy

Glock: With this company, I could incorporate music into their advertisements and videos that match the same theme. They usually post videos or pictures dealing with guns that have well-written captions and high-quality images being displayed. Their customer engagement is quite strong and there is constant communication with their customers. This would be a good idea as a business partner because we can develop together and exchange customers.

Spotify: Spotify is a streaming platform for music and it’s not a difficult process to get your music out there. This is a business partner that would be vital for what I’m doing and on their page they post a lot of young and upcoming artists. Becoming partners with Spotify would be good for growing an audience that they engage with a lot and everything about their page is professional.

Apple: Apple would also be a good business partner, you see their advertisements on T.V for a new device coming out accompanied with suiting music. As a business partner with the right music, we would be able to collaborate and curate a great ad with music that people would love and be reminded of that apple commercial when they think about the song. Apple has a great customer-business relationship and often communicates with its customers in a friendly and professional manner. Collaborating with this company would be a great and strong move.

Nike: It is always nice to listen to music and sports together, it makes the image you're seeing more memorable and really adds to what you’re seeing and what is happening. Music makes the highlights more exciting and draws out more emotion. There are a lot of images and videos involved which makes this page professional and stand out well compared to others. There is also a lot of customer engagement which is one of the reasons why their fanbase is constantly increasing.

Overtime: This page is a bit more laid back that shows sports highlights and other types of entertaining videos. Unlike the other pages, they are a bit more relaxed and laid back when it comes to captions and engagement which is a nice switch up. It relaxes that intense vibe of being a big business/company and promotes the same content but in a relaxing manner. It would be good to collaborate with overtime to give my business the opportunity to have more of a chill side than one that’s strictly business. It’ll teach me how to engage with my customers like they do with theirs.

Relapse Records: This recording label is completely different from the type of music I create and this is intentional. It gives you the opportunity to expand your horizon and experiment with something new as well as gain business opportunities throughout the entire industry instead of those who make similar music to me. The page doesn’t engage as much with customers but the people who follow the page love what they do. Their images and videos are also creative and can draw in a bigger audience because of their creativity.

BMW USA: Like Glock, this would be a good page to collaborate with, their videos are extremely professional, and having music that sits well with the video could create something great that will stick with people. This could prompt them to share with people they know and increase our customer engagement. The people who follow their page often interact a lot with BMW and there are supportive comments on each one of their posts. The photos and videos of their cars are great and done 100 percent professionally and it would be nice to have them as a business partner.
