Week 16 Part A: Developing Your Marketing Strategy
For my business, Facebook seemed to be an effective platform and one that would be most successful. The other platform didn’t feel as comfortable as Facebook. After trialing with a few, I got the suggestion from a classmate to try TikTok and after doing research on the application it gives a sense of hope. TikTok allows you to show videos, usually short ones like vine. The chance of having a post grow popular is high if it reaches the right audience. TikTok’s algorithm allows for those with mutual interests to connect through their home pages. For my business it can be a more casual way to grow a strong base. Other than that there aren’t any other platforms or tools that would help with my business. Since it’s more on the art side, it’s about making connections with certain individuals and those are connections I have to find myself. I’ve mainly enjoyed using Facebook for my business, I never use Facebook actually so I didn’t think I’d be comfortable or enjoying using that platform but I did. Most of my business is social media related so daily postings need to be taken into account. Since it’s music related, staying relevant is key for my business to keep on thriving.
